¾Å¾Å¸£ÀûÍø Lakes at LSU a Place for People and Nature to Come Together

cypress tree in university lakesThe ¾Å¾Å¸£ÀûÍø Lakes system is made up of six lakes surrounding LSU’s campus, featuring a network of paths for walkers, runners and cyclists to get some sun and exercise, as well as open spaces for gathering or to enjoy the wildlife and other sights.

The ¾Å¾Å¸£ÀûÍø Lakes, constructed in the 1920s and '30s, are going through an ambitious environmental restoration to create a more sustainable lake system. The project is a partnership between LSU and state and local partners.
