Musa grew up in Abu Dhabi and is fluent in Bengali, Arabic, Hindi, and English. He previously worked for over 10 years in the Strategy Department of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), a $500B+ wealth fund whose mandate was to invest oil revenues in various asset classes globally. His roles at ADIA included working as an analyst for the Chief Economist and in the Portfolio Construction/Asset Allocation team.

He has also passed Level 3 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program.
