Dr. Phillips is Department Chair, Professor, and holds the Thomas H. Daigre Endowed Chair.  His academic research includes The Accounting Review; Accounting, Organizations & Society; Behavioral Research in Accounting; Accounting Horizons; Advanced Accounting; and others, as well as professional journals such as the Journal of Accountancy and The CPA Journal. Phillips is a past President of the LCPA (state) and has served on the AICPA Council.
