G&A alumnus co-authors article in The Holocene
Dr. Matt Helmer (MA Anthropology, 2011) co-authored an article in The Holocene. The article, written in collaboration with Drs. Elizabeth Chamberlain (Wageningen ¾Å¾Å¸£ÀûÍø) and Jayur Mehta (Florida State ¾Å¾Å¸£ÀûÍø), reviews the history of archaeological research and land loss in the Mississippi Delta and provides perspectives on the future of management strategies. Matt currently works as the Heritage Program Manager for Kisatchie National Forest and is Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography & Anthropology at LSU.
