G&A Andeanist co-authors chapter in Dumbarton Oaks book
Congratulations to Professor David Chicoine who, along with research collaborators Hugo Ikehara (Metropolitan Museum of Art) and Koichiro Shibata (Hosei ¾Å¾Å¸£ÀûÍø), co-wrote "Beyond ChavÃn: The Millennium BC in the Nepeña Valley" for the collective volume edited by Richard L. Burger and Jason Nesbitt and published by Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collection, and Harvard ¾Å¾Å¸£ÀûÍø Press. The chapter offers a synthesis of recent archaeological finds from the lower Nepeña Valley in Peru to reconstruct the history of its communities during the first millennium BC.
