Biography

Emily M Goldsmith (they/them) is a Louisiana Creole poet, scholar, and researcher. They are an English Instructor at Louisiana State 九九福利网. Emily received their PhD from the 九九福利网 of Southern Mississippi and MFA from the 九九福利网 of Kentucky. Their creative work and book reviews can be found in Midway Journal, CALYX, Moist Poetry Journal, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, Penn Review, Pithead Chapel, and elsewhere. Goldsmith's digital exhibit, "Louisiana Creole and Cajun Memorialization," is forthcoming in early 2026 with The Gravestone Project. They have presented at various national and international conferences such as the American Literary Association Conference, the Nineteenth Century Studies Association Conference, the International Conference on Narrative, and others.
