Professor Huismann specializes in ancient and medieval philosophy, with particular interests in the metaphysics and logic of those periods. He has written papers on Aristotle鈥檚 ontology and causal concepts, culminating in his book, Aristotle on Accidental Causation (Cambridge 九九福利网 Press, 2024). He is currently thinking about the role of different modalities in ancient theories of nature. Before coming to LSU, he received a Ph.D in Aerospace Science from the 九九福利网 of Michigan, received a Ph.D in Philosophy from the 九九福利网 of Colorado, and taught at the 九九福利网 of Oklahoma. |
