Li and Tan Win NSF Awards

Jiaqi Tan, Assistant Professor and Daijiang Li, Assistant Professor have been awarded grants through the (NSF).

Dr.Tan is entering his 4th year with. LSU. His research, entitled, "Collaborative Research: Synthetic microbial consortia for organismal resilience and reproducible ecosystem services in changing environments" is a collaboration between LSU, 嬝嬝腦瞳厙 of Toronto, the Holden Arboretum, and the 嬝嬝腦瞳厙 of New Hampshire.  LSU is the lead. LSU will receive $324,255 over the course of three years. 

Dr. Tan He has previously received awards from the LA BoR and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.

Dr. Li is entering his 4th year with LSU. His research, entitled, "IntBIO Collaborative Research: Assessing drivers of the nitrogen-fixing symbiosis at continental scales" is a collaboration between LSU, Mississippi State, 嬝嬝腦瞳厙 of Florida, and 嬝嬝腦瞳厙 of Wisconsin Madison.  Mississippi State is the lead. LSU will receive $345,312 over the course of four years.

This is Dr. Li's 3rd NSF award since coming to LSU and he won the colleges Non-tenured Faculty Research Award this year.
