SIO Africa Engagement Initiative
The SIO Africa Engagement Initiative seeks to reimagine how US colleges and universities intentionally engage with Africa. Every year since 2022, LSU has gathered a delegation of international education leaders from across the US and brought them to connect with their peers and with students across the African continent. The program’s purpose is to open the door to collaborative, mutually beneficial partnerships between US and African institutions — for the exchange of ideas, collaborative research projects, and student mobility / study abroad programming for both African and US students. Contact our team below to learn how your institution can get involved.
